Tesla Enhances Model Y, Scales Back Model 3 in Mexico


 

Automakers are always fine-tuning their model lineups to keep up with their customers' evolving preferences. Recently, Tesla made some exciting updates to its Model 3 sedan to enhance its appeal. These updates include customizable ambient lighting, an 8-inch touchscreen for rear-seat passengers, and a sleek new design that replaces the traditional stalks for turn signals and gear selection with a more modern approach.

While some might miss the familiar stalks, these changes are designed to create a more streamlined experience. But the most significant improvement comes from a redesigned front fascia that boosts the car's aerodynamic efficiency, leading to increased range. The smoother the car moves through the air, the further it can go on a single charge. Thanks to these enhancements, the Model 3's coefficient of drag has been reduced from 0.23 to 0.219, resulting in an 8 percent increase in range.
